I have always heard the name Makeup Geek when watching YouTube tutorials. When I saw the brand pop up on Beauty Bay, I had to see what the fuss was about!

MAKEUP GEEK || EYE SHADOW PAN || £4.95
I will tell you now, choosing which Makeup Geek Eyeshadow pan to go for is not an easy task. I spent ages looking up swatches in order to decide which I liked best. I read lot’s of reviews on each shade and finally came to a decision.
All of the shadows are so pigmented, they are unbelievable! I can’t believe how beautiful they are! The shimmer finish is gorgeous and all shades blend wonderfully together. I love using Shimma Shimma on my lids, it makes my eyes stand out and also enhances the other shades which contrast. I use Havoc, Moondust and Prom Night in the crease – they create such a gorgeous contour. The shadows work well together in order to create a smokey eye. As mentioned earlier, they blend so well and this makes application so much easier. The lasting power is strong and so applying early in the morning also means lasting through until night time. There is little fall out with these shadows so I don’t experience dark smudges down my face either!
The Makeup Geek shadows retail from £4.95 which to me is a brilliant price. When you experience the quality of their products you will wonder how they are so cheap! The Shadows also pose as dupes for some more pricer shadows. Shimma Shimma is a dupe for MAC – Shroom, Moondust is a dupe for MAC – Smoke & Diamonds, and finally, Prom Night is a dupe for MAC – Satin Taupe.
The shadows come packages in a cardboard slip in order to protect them. I think that the amount of product you receive is enough and sits within a metal pan – labelled with the shade to prevent forgetting! I like the uniform packaging design which makes them fit well together and look professional. I have been storing them in my acrylic makeup organiser and they fit perfectly within the draws for easy access.
I absolutely love these little beauties and can’t wait to grow my Makeup Geek collection! Next on the agenda is to purchase a Z Palette to store them in!
